41 st Fair GAST in Klagenfurt (Austria) – the newest trends and an interesting programme

More than 500 exhibitors from several European countries presented a wide pallet of products and services from gastronomical field, for instance various equipment, food products, beverages, gastronomical systems, marketing, advertisement... The professional fair offered all what is daily needed in the mentioned sector. Parallel to the fair also the wine fair “Interwine “ was held, where the wine producers presented their high quality wines. Numerous presentations, expert meetings, different competitions and company in good mood rounded the rich variety of events at this year s fair.

Mag. (MSC) Branko Kidrič, the mayor of the community Rogaška Slatina (Slovenia)

The popular mayor of the community Rogaška Slatina mag.Branko Kidrič finished the secondary technical school in Celje. He studied building industry at the Universities of Maribor and Zagreb. In the year 2006 he was – for the fourth time- elected for the mayor. The community is a member of the Alps-Adriatic Centre for Cross-border Co-operation (AACC) in Klagenfurt.

Carinthian Country Government prolonged the contract with AACC for the next 5 years

Carinthia prolonged the contract with “European Crossborder Consulting and with Alps-Adriatic Centre for Cross-border Co-operation, presided by Bernard Sadovnik. The members of the government expressed their satisfaction that the contacts and the cooperation with Italy and Slovenia are developing positively. AACC is active in the sense of good neighbour relations, especially on the field of economy. With the prolongation of the contract the Country Government demonstrated that it desires a very wide cooperation on all sectors in the Alps-Adriatic region.
