Now Bled at Woerthersee
The Bled castle has been
now for one year in Minimundus, Klagenfurt.
But what is only the castle - without
the Bled lake? From August 4th, 2010,
also the lake is exhibited in the „small
world“ at Woerthersee, as all objects
in size relation 1 to 25. At the opening
of this new attraction in Klagenfurt Minimundus
the Bled Mayor Janez Fajfar brought with
him the „pletna“ in miniature - this is
the boat, typical for Bled, used to transport
tourists from the banks of the lake to
the island.
The municipality of Bled is one of those
which established - with the support of
the Alps-Adriatic Centre for Cross-border
Co-operation (AACC) – friendly contacts
with numerous Carinthian municipalities
and their representatives.
